Taking Reservation
What is taking
reservation?
Taking reservations are an
arrangement guests make in
advance to confirm a table
for their party at a specified
time.
Example:

We made dinner reservations at the

restaurant for 6 o'clock.

I would like to make a table

reservation for a dinner date.
Example:

We made family reunion reservations

at the restaurant for 8 o'clock, Good
for 10 person.

I would like to make a table reservation for a my

birthday celebration. Make 1 long table and good for
20 person plus high chair for my baby. A total of 21
guests.

technologies they have available.

directly.
2. In person – the customer comes into the establishment
and communicates directly with the staff.
3. Mail – in some countries today, this is almost an
extinct form for making a reservation.
4. Email – a booking done through an e-mail address.
