Indigestion is pain or discomfort in the upper abdomem,
with a felling of distention of the stomach,burning of the
stomach.

 The causes of Indigestion are:


1.Eat quickly;
2.Not chewing food well;
3.Drinking excessively during meals;
4.Consumption of very fatty foods and fried foods;
5.Consumption of processed foods.

 Symptoms of Indigestion include:


 Shortness of breathe;
 Nausea or vomiting;
 Loss of appetite;
 Difficulty swallowing;
 Burning sensation in the stomach;
 Blood in the stool.

 To treat Indigestion, you must be guided by

 Use of some homemade teas and juices suchs as:
 Mint and ginger tea;
 Boldo tea;
 Lemon and apple juice;
 Prokinrtic medicines.

 Good Pratices to avoid Indigestion are:


• Do not consume fatty foods;
• Drink a lot of tea;
• Avoid drinking during meals;
• Chew food Well;
• Avoid eating too close to bedtime.

Eat slow
If you have one of the symptoms mentioned
above, go to the nearest health center;
Decrease stress or anxiety levels;
Do not consume acidic foods.
