Sometimes addition, subtraction, multiplication, division, powers and
brackets may all be involved in a calculation it is important to do the
operations in the correct order
1. Work out the Brackets first.
2. Work out the Indices next
3. Work out the Divisions and Multiplications next
4. Workout the Additions and Subtractions last

In practice, it does not matter if multiplication is performed before division or if

subtraction is performed before addition. What is important is that the process of
