Passive Voice

assive voice atau kalimat pasif bahasa Inggris adalah jenis kalimat
yang dilihat berdasarkan subjeknya. Contoh passive voice yaitu a
magazine was read by my mom yesterday.

passive voice menggunakan pola kalimat

Subject + Auxiliary verb (kata pembantu kata kerja) + Verb 3 (kata
kerja bentuk ke-3).
Passive Voice
Dalam passive voice, auxiliary verb akan berubah bentuk berdasarkan waktu
kejadiannya. Berikut ini penjelasan berbagai bentuk passive voice.

1. Simple Present Tense = Object + am/is/are + V3 + by + Object/Pronoun

 I give this book to my friend = This book is given by me to my friend

2. Simple Past Tense = Object + was/were + V3 + by + Object/Pronoun

 I gave this book to my friend = This book was given by me to my friend

3. Simple Future Tense = Object + shall/will +be+ V3 + by + Object/Pronoun

 I will give this book to my friend = This book will be given by me to my
friend

4. Present Continuous Tense = Object + am/is/are + being + V3 + by + Object

 My mom is cooking a cuisine = a cuisine is being cooked by my mom

5. Past Continuous Tense = Object + was/were + being+ V3 + by + Object

 My mom was cooking a cuisine = a cuisine was being cooked by my mom

6. Future Continuous Tense = Object + shall/will + V3 + by + Object/Pronoun

 My mom will be cooking a cuisine = a cuisine will be being cooked by my mom
