COMPLEX SENTENCES

DEFINITION
• Contains a dependent clause and independent clauses
• Dependent clause in the start of the sentence and will be followed
by a comma.
• Dependent clauses started with a subordinat conjuction like [when ,
because, until or if.
• E.g
• let me know, if you intentend to come
• Even though the exam was very defficult, all the students passed
compound complex sentence

Definition
• Consist of two independent clauses and at least one dependent clause
• Independent clause must be more then one and dependent clause is necessary.
• E.g.. If it rains tomorrow , bring your umbrella or you might catch a cold
• We can call compound complex sentence a combination of a single compound
and a complex sentence.
