From Marama
Konichiwa Everybody. We’re back!I hope you are all well rested from your Christmas break, Codyand I had a wonderful time in Japan. While the weather wascold, at least it was dry unlike the sodden New Years here inNew Zealand :-/Before I carry on, I must say congratulations to Tina andClifford on their marriage last weekend. Logan and Ashleyfilled us in on all the details and it sounds like it was a wonderful event. Also we have an official welcome to Jacob and Grace whostarted at school with us last week after moving up fromNelson in December. Both of our new students have settled innicely, and I am sure Micah and Logan are quite pleased tohave another boy to join our rather pink classroom :-)And finally I would like to also welcome Michael and Ian, fromthe Education Review Office, who have come to visit for twodays. I managed to organise blue skies for their visit (anotherskill of mine ;-) so hopefully they will be so dazzled by it, thatthey don’t notice my inevitable spellingmistakes in the weeklynewsletters.
