Weekly Outline:
Activity session subject : Locations Vocabulary: My house: a house, the garage, the garden, the kitchen, a bedroom, the stairs, the bathroom, the living room, the dining room, the study Activities / songs / games: Coloring in pictures rooms in the house Play a game using a dice with some of the vocabulary words on it i.e. Where are you going? Roll dice. I am going to the kitchen.

Phonics First sounds m and n listening practice naming the pictures. Students than have to identify which pictures begin with the correct first sound by listening to them. Play the corners game with m and n words using the different vowel sounds to differentiate. Play the memory game students toss a ball around the circle and have to remember a slowly growing list of vocabulary. Finding m words in the picture students have to identify the objects that start with the letter m and colour them so that they stand out from the rest of the picture.

Notes / parent follow up: Have your child use the vocabulary when navigating their way around the house Try to refer to the rooms and locations throughout the house in English to help them.
