Measuring Horizontal Angles

Objective: to measure the horizontal angles on face left and right. The mean of face left and face right readings should remove some of the instrument errors. B Procedure: 1-fix and adjust the instrument on point A A 2-on face left sight point B , make horizontal angle=00 00 00 3-sight points C and D and record the readings 4-change the instrument to face right and take the readings on points D,C,B 5-take the mean of readings on F.L and F.R 6-calculate the angles Example Point B C D <BAC , <CAD D C
