HOW THE WORLD WORKS Central idea: Exploring forces helps us understand the world around us. It was a very busy week as we learned about magnets and magnetism and applied this knowledge to create our own magnet games. Science Day was spent seeing the magnets in action while having fun at the same time. This week, we are focusing on gravity. We will explore the concept of gravity and how it applies to our everyday lives. We will defy gravity through an experiment and just as we have been doing the past few weeks, we will investigate this force through the scientic method.

March 1st is Book Character Day. Students are encouraged to dress in the clothes of their favourite book character. If weather permits, there will be a parade at 9:10am on the school eld.
