Themes: Our Heritage, Peoples of Nova Scotia, Local Artists and Writers, Healthy Living. Concepts: Math (Multiplication and Division, B1B3,B5,B7,B8),), Mental Math (2 digit Subtraction) Language Arts (Writing Fiction Believable characters, setting and plot), Social Studies (The people of Nova Scotia continued), Science (Maple syrup making), Health (Active Healthy Living B1.1-B3.1), Art (Cultural and Historical influences in art by Pablo Picasso (Clown collage).

Requests: 1. Complete an interview with your child letting us know your familys heritage. (optional ) 2. Keep signing agendas and writing in minutes for our reading Across Canada Program. If you can, add up the minutes, multiply by 10 and record on chart in front pocket. 3.Make sure your child has a morning snack please.
Also, we are a scent-free school. Students and visitors should not wear scented products while in our school building (especially perfumes, colognes, and aftershaves).
