    Term 3 Week 7

    Your task, if you chose to accept it, is to seek out your own spelling words .
    Using newspapers, search for articles related to the Federal Election. This is election week so the papers will be full of comments and reports on the political situation. You need to find 20 words to fill this chart. There are some rules! a. b. c. d. Each word must have at least two syllables At least 5 word needs to be strongly linked to politics in some way At least 5 words must be names of people involved in the electoral process At least 5 words must be persuasive - words that are designed to influence an audience

    1. Rule up correctly, remembering to title and date your work. 2. Divide your list into groups of 5 words and . a) b) c) d) write 5 in syllables write 5 in alphabetical order write 5 in compound sentences write the meanings of 5 words

    3. Use at least 10 words to design a crossword with good meanings/questions. Ask your teacher to check this then design a good copy that will be used by your class in SOSE.
