V.I.P. TIME!

Dear ____________________________,

This is a note to remind you that you are the VERY IMPORTANT PERSON for our classroom next week! Please purchase a sheet of poster board (found at Dollar Store, Fred Meyer, etc.), and use it to create a VERTICAL display (so it will fit on the bulletin board). You will want to include your name and facts about yourself, such as your favorite color, school subject, food, or movie. You may also want to include pictures of your family, friends, and favorite memories. Feel free to add drawings or decorations. This poster is a fun way to express who you are! Please have your poster ready to display on our VIP wall on MONDAY. Below is an outline of all the special things you get to do as our V.I.P. next week.
Monday

Share your V.I.P. poster with the class. Be ready to answer questions and tell us more about what makes you unique! Create your V.I.P. book cover! You have three choices! 1) Bring your favorite book to share with the class. Tell us what it is about and why you like it! 2) Read or recite a favorite Bible verse! 3) Tell a joke! *Practice with somebody at home so that you are well prepared! Bring something to share with the class for Show and Tell. Sorry, no pets. Have a guest (parent, relative, or family friend) join you for recess and/or lunch in the cafeteria. Please let me know who your guest will be, and remind him or her to check in at the school office! Recess is 11:20-11:45. Lunch is 11:45-12:05. Guests may have hot lunch if the student pays and orders it for him or her that morning! You will be honored as our Very Important Person and presented with a book of letters from each of your classmates!
