Grandfriends Day When: September 16th 9:00-9:50 What: I would love for the students to make something with their grandparents. I would like you to send in heart-shaped cookie cutters for us to use that day. Please start sending these in as soon as possible so I can make sure we have everything we need to complete this activity on this special day. Reading Logs Reading logs will be checked on Monday. Please make sure that you look over the log with your child and sign to show he/she read the 80 minutes for the week. The Readers Response is just a reflection of what the student has read throughout the week. Students may choose a strategy weve discussed in class for this. Example: This week Ive been reading That Furball Puppy and Me. I predict that Gray will save Furball from the rats in the barn. I predict this because Gray was almost attacked by the rats at the beginning of the book. This was a problem that he is trying to overcome in the book.
