Kindergarten News
Unit: Pumpkins THIS WEEK: Phonics: l, h, k, j, p, e, r, d, s, a, g, c, o, i, u, m, n, t, b, f Sight/Trick Words: be, have, as, out, go, there, some, is, look, her, up, with, him, all, at, they, on, had, but, for, was, said, his, that, she, little, you, it, of, to, am, he, a, in, I, the, and, number words (one, two, three, four, five, six, seven, eight, nine, ten), color words (red, blue, yellow, green, black, white, purple, brown, pink, orange) **We are sending home new sight word cards each week. Please cut them out and keep a collection for practice at home.** Math: Counting and writing teen numbers, numbers 0-30, counting by 10s, completing sets, repeating patterns, positional terms, flat and solid shapes First Quarter Conferences It has been wonderful meeting with you and discussing your wonderful children! Fall Fun Day

Thank you for signing up to help with Fall Fun Day! You can start sending in nonperishable items as soon as you have them. Please bring cupcakes/food items the day of the event. Thank you!!! There are some items that we still need commitments for: face paint, sprinkles, all different colors of icing, empty 2-liter bottles, chocolate syrup, pack of clothespins, cupcakes, popcorn, plain brown paper grocery bags, and trinkets for prizes. If you can send in any of these items, please let us know! Thanks!

Homework Folders There is a new homework packet in the folder this week. Please work on it during the week and return to school by Friday. Please be sure to empty the folder of completed work each night!
