Weekly Homework

Due: Friday, December 2

Take Note:
November 23-25-Thanksgiving Break (no school)
December 1-Early Dismissal-1:30 PM
Now until December 13-Non-Perishable Food Drive. If you are able, please send in canned or
dry goods!
Report cards are available online through ParentVUE. If you need your activation code or
username/password, please contact the front office.
Please label the inside of your childs jacket(s) so that we can easily identify them. With the
changes in weather, many jackets are left behind at school!

Social Studies: Please collect around 5 photos of your winter traditions (e.g. family
meals, baking cookies, special trips/ visiting family, etc.). If you do not have photos,
please illustrate detailed pictures of your traditions. We will use the photos and
illustrations for a digital collage project in December!
Math: Please see the attached sheet to make a bar graph of your Thanksgiving dinner!
Use your schema to help you remember the food groups we studied in health at the
beginning of the year. Record the foods you had at your Thanksgiving table, and
graph which food group they fall into.
If you do not celebrate Thanksgiving, feel free to make a bar graph of a typical meal.
