There is this story of two Lumber-Jacks (people who cut trees down).
In a forest these two lumberjacks were cutting down trees with their axes.
As they started they both were cutting down the same number of trees and both working very diligently.
But as they went about one hour the Lumberjack on the left stopped while the Lumberjack on the right kept on going. The Lumberjack on
the left went to a nearby log and proceeded to rest (at least thats what it looked like).
Then after his break he would come back and begin to cut down trees. Again, after another hour the same Lumberjack took another break
on the same log and the same amount of time.
Hour after hour this Lumberjack took breaks, sitting on a log, arms on his knees, doing NOTHING.
When the day came to a close the manager had come by to count the trees that each Lumberjack had cut down. After counting the manager had looked at the Lumberjack on the left and said Wow! You cut down so many trees today! Great Job!
Shocked, the Lumberjack on the right asked in bewilderment, How did he cut down more trees than me?
The other Lumberjack said, While you were busy chopping away, swing after swing, I went over to sharpen my axe. And while you went
continuously, blow after blow, at the base of the thick trunks of those trees I sat, relaxed and was refreshed so that while your blows were
growing weaker and weaker, mine were consistently strong as if I had just started.
Last week and this week our Cell Leaders and Cell Groups went on break. But thats not because were lazy, but because were smart. Because we understand that we need to come back sharper, stronger and ready to build true community in YEM.

Indonesia
Untuk pasangan saya yang sering mengerjakan tugas setiap
malam, sebab artinya ia tidak pergi dengan orang lain.
Untuk anak-anak yang tidak membersihkan rumah, malahan
menonton televisi, sebab artinya ia berada di rumah dan tidak
berkeliaran di jalanan.
Untuk pajak-pajak yang saya bayar, sebab artinya saya masih
memiliki penghasilan.
Untuk rumah yang berantakan setelah pesta, sebab artinya
saya masih dikelilingi oleh teman-teman.
Untuk pakaian yang kesempitan, sebab artinya saya masih
memiliki kecukupan untuk makan.

Jika satu-satunya doa yang anda katakan dalam hidup anda

adalah terima kasih, itu sudah cukup.

is trouble. There
is no safety in
the building, at
any tremor or
trouble the building is in danger
of collapsing.
This is true for
the church as
well. The first is
having the Word
of God as the
foundation, then
we build upon that, which are the members. In order to grow, we need
to build up a firm foundation of leaders to serve, love, and pray for the
church. Please join with us in praying for the outpouring of the Holy Spirit
and the wise guidance to do what he leads!
