I really appreciate your help in our classroom! * If you are starting to work on Valentines Day cards, click here for our class list! * There will be no word study this week. We will be focusing our work work on word wall (high frequency) words.

CURRICULUM CORNER
* We are starting a unit on Magnets this week! Please help continue this conversation at home by searching for household items that are magnetic. * We are continuing Math Unit 5. Check out some great Building Skills through Games (page 109 of the math homelink packet) * In reading we are still working on skill of SCHEMA. I will be teaching the kids to activate their prior knowledge, or schema when they are reading. Here is a chart to help you when you are reading with your child.
