    We are beginning a unit on Greek Mythology this week. We will be focusing on the text structure, theme, and comparing and contrasting characters.

    ( Writing: We are finishing up our work on informative writing. Our focus will be fine tuning our details and transitions. Math: We are continuing our unit on fractions this week. We will be reviewing addition and subtraction of like denominators to begin our week back. We will then be looking at fractions and decimals, and comparing fractions.( Social Studies: We are working on group projects about the south. Groups will be presenting to the class about one area of the South.. Science: The kids will continue to work on simple machines using a computer program called Science Court.
