FEEDBACK REPORT

Convention on the Rights of the Child Training was conducted last August 2,
2009 at Room 33 Caritas Manila which was facilitated by 3 advocates through the
coordination with BCPC Project. It was attended by 123 children. The sessions were
divided into two shifts, morning and afternoon from 9:00 A.M.-12:00 N.N. and 1:00 P.M.
– 5:00 P.M.

These sessions were facilitated by the EAP Team; Aiza A. Cabrera, Ma. Jeraldine
Rey, Viviene Ann Francisco with the supervision of Marilyn Gamboa. This was also
attended by Lotus M. Cabrera, FCED’s Assistant Executive Director.

The BCPC Education Committee mobilized the participation of the EAP

beneficiaries in the CRC Training. They were also present during the training as
committees for physical arrangement, food distribution, and registration and for the
transportation reimbursement. EAP Social Workers assigned at least 3 representatives
per barangay.

The participants were divided into 3 groups as equated to the 3 advocates. The
advocates delivered their sessions through Focus Group Discussion (FGD). To help the
children understand the topics; the advocates used visual aids such as charts, keywords,
pictures. They also conducted some physical activities to attract the attention and interest
of the children.

Before the training ends, certificate of attendance were given to the children in
recognition of their participation in the training.
