Curriculum Plan

Topic/Title of Lesson: Fun Match Focused Domain: Cognitive
Age Group: Kindergarten

Goal: Introduce children to addition

Objective: Children will practice how to do addition with clothes pins.

Procedure: Asked the children to do the addition of the two numbers, start of
with the numbers 1- 4. Have them with the clothes pin put the answer on the
bottom of the problem.

Advanced Preparation: In a paper write 5 addition problems, 1 + 1, 1+2, 1+3,
1+4 and 1 + 5. On the clothes pins write the answers to the problems.

List Materials: - clothes pins, paper, markers, laminating material

Developmental Benefits: Social, physical (fine motor), language,
and emotional

Future Plans: Have the children do math problem with greater numbers.
