Hello future students and parents, my name is Miss.

Moore and this year I am going to be your

second grade teacher. I am looking forward to an amazing year and cannot wait to meet every
single one of you. In order for us to get to know each other before school starts Cook
Elementary will be having a Back to School Bash so the teachers can meet their future
students.

The second grade students will first meet in the gymnasium, where they will meet me at 5:00
p.m. After meeting with me and hearing what the principal has to say about the upcoming
year, the students will then follow me back to my classroom; while the parents stay and talk to
the principal. In the classroom, the students and I will talk about the upcoming school year and
my expectation, and what they are hoping to achieve this year. After meeting one another and
learning about each other, we will play a few games and the students can possibly win prizes.

I hope to see both the parents and students at the Back to School Bash, and cannot wait to
get to know all of you and meet you. We are going to have a great year.
