Tomorrow is Day. There is a friendly PINK
competition to see which school will be
wearing the most PINK.

Friday, September 26 we head to the
stadium to watch the marching band.

Students are working on a poster of human and
natural characteristics.

Classroom Work
Social Studies: We have been working on
what geography means and human
characteristics and natural characteristics.
Students have a study guide in their
Thursday folder. Their first quiz will be
tomorrow.

Math: We have been working on place
value and rounding. Next week we will take
a quiz then begin addition with regrouping
and estimation.

Writing: We are working on writing
personal narratives about something they
did over their summer break.

Grades: When grading the work of
students I use a check system that
mirrors our report cards.
A check plus = a 1
A check = a 2
A check minus = a 3


Homework: Students who have not
been passing their Rocket Math will now
need to take a sheet of subtraction facts
home to practice. Also, reading every night
is also my homework.

Quiz in Social Studies Tomorrow!!!!!
Students have a study guide and were told
to bring it home so that parents could
study with them.
