ANALYSIS OF CHANNEL LOGOS

The MTV Logo has Box font style; the logo usually
stays a simple black and white to appeal to the
audience. Changing the colour scheme Shows what
type of programmes are coming up. The Font style
of the TV seems to be handwritten suggests a
casual and informal content.

VIVA has a sharp and sleek design much like the
MTV logo, but the difference is in the colour choice,
VIVA mainly uses Pink or Lime Green, these
colours suggest a fresh and current content, and
because of these vibrant colours it appeals to a
younger audience.

Cartoon Network Logo has pretty much stayed the
same since 1992 the only difference is the addition of
C and N. This is now the main focus point of logo.
For my generation this logo is very iconic as most of
us grew up watching shows such as Dexters
Laboratory, Ed, Edd, Eddie,

The E4 logo doesnt have the conventional Fonts of
other channels; E4 has a more custom font image,
so it was design for E4 in particular instead of using
an existing font. E4 also uses a very vibrant and
young colour, the logo would not have the same
effect if it was a dark Purple. This means that the
target audience of E4 is younger and the content of
the channel would be more informal.

The Dave logo is a stylish and monochrome
coloured therefore it only uses black and white as
its main colour scheme, this means that it would
appeal to more male viewers but at the same time
the channel does not leave out the female viewers,
Dave shows a variation of Sport Shows, Car Shows,
and Fashion shows.
