Directions to make Paal Kozhukattai

:
1)Mix + cup of milk, 1+ cups of water to the rice flour with ghee and a pinch of salt together.
2)eat the !atter in a pan "prefera!l# non stick) and keep stirring without an# lumps, till it forms a
dough consistenc#.
$)%hen it is cool, add & tsp oil to that and knead it into a soft dough.
&)Make small !alls "like u do for seedai) out of this.
')(ake milk from the coconut.
)* +heck out here how to do it. ,irst time when u extract milk from the coconut, u will get thick
milk. Keep this as #our 1st extract. -gain add water and extract milk. (his time u will get a thinner
milk. .epeat it again the third time too where u will get a /er# thin extract. 0o not mix the coconut
milks together. keep aside.
)* 1f u are using tinned coconut milk, add 122 cup of water to 122 cup of the coconut milk cream to
get the first thick extract. (ake 12& cup of coconut cream and add 122 cup of water to make the 2nd
extract and repeat this step again for the $rd extract with the remaining 12& cup of coconut milk
cream.
3)1n a non stick pan, add the $rd extract and the rice !alls.
4)%hen it !oils and when the !alls float on top, add the 2nd extract.
5)-dd the 1st extract and the sugar after $ minutes.
6)7et it thicken and then add the cardamom powder.
