C. Was your personal interest as a teacher improved?

Yes, my personal interest as a teacher improved. Before, I was thinking that teaching has the
least benefits as a profession but I stood corrected. Teaching is the noblest profession of all. From my
observation, I realized that it more fun being a teacher because it gives more opportunity to socialize,
influence, and be open to diversity.
By simply being exposed or immersed to different behaviors, characters, and personalities of
students, the faculty, and school administrator, I learned to be adjustable and dynamic especially in
school or academic institutions.
D. Give a quote for future education in your own words.
Future educators differs a lot from traditional teachers. Earlier teachers were more of a
disciplinarian than facilitators. Disciplinarian in a way that they educate pupils what they knew and how
they understood it. Unlike facilitators, they let their students to discover, create, and innovate ideas.
Simply put, disciplinarians transfer their knowledge to their pupils while facilitators encourage their
pupils to gather or develop knowledge on their own with proper guidance.
Future education is like a cat guided by its own curiosity. The 21
st
century students are like
the cat who are inquisitive and impulsive. They are enticed to learn in their own way, they choose what
to learn, what to know, and what to discover. As a future educator, our role is to lead them or open
their mind and touch their curiosity so they will voluntarily engage to learning. That way learning will
become more effective and efficient on both the teacher and learner.
