HEAVY EQUIPMENTS
Dragline Excavator:
Dragline Excavator is too big as it performs heavy duty functions. It is great civil-engineering
machine used for digging mines and it has to be built on sites. Dragline excavator consists of a
structural designed boom, a large bucket hanged with wire ropes, a big immovable base and
drivers cabin. It is mostly used in coal and tar-sand mines.

Straight Blade:
traight blade bulldo!ers feature the most basic blade. "he blade is fairly short and consists of a
straight piece of metal with no curves, wings or other features. traight blades work well for
grading and evening out the soil, but not for heavy moving or pushing.
Loader Backhoe:
#lso referred to as a loader backhoe, the backhoe loader is an engineering and excavation
vehicle that consists of a tractor, front shovel and bucket and a small backhoe in the rear end.
Due to the small si!e and versatility, backhoe loaders are common with small construction
pro$ects and excavation type work. "he backhoe loader is the most common variation of the
classic farm tractor.#s the name implies, it has a loader assembly on the front and a backhoe
attachment on the back

Front End Loader:
#lso known as a front end loader, bucket loader, scoop loader, or shovel, the front loader is a type
of tractor that is normally wheeled and uses a wide s%uare tilting bucket on the end of movable
arms to lift and move material around."he loader assembly may be a removable attachment or
permanently mounted on the vehicle. &ften times, the bucket can be replaced with other devices
or tools, such as forks or a hydraulically operated bucket.
Counterbalance Truck:
&n counterbalance trucks, the forks protrude from the front of the machine, with no outraging legs
or arms, meaning the truck can be driven up to the exact location of the load or racking. "his
means that no reach facility is re%uired, and lends itself to straightforward operation.
#s the name suggests, counterbalance trucks operate a counterbalance weight design, with a
weight at the rear of the truck off-setting the load to be lifted at the front. Electric counterbalance
machines are able to operate with a smaller counterweight as the battery serves as ballast as
well as a source of power.
