Kids 4 Kids
Each first grade class, along with their buddy
class, has teamed up to help make a
difference in a Columbus area familys life.
The Kids 4 Kids program combines two
service projects, the Food Drive and the
Clothing Drive, to help provide the
necessities and some comfort items to a
family suggested by the Childhood League
in Columbus. The Food Drive collects non-
perishable items and combines them to
make 2 weeks worth of meals for our
sponsored families. The Clothing Drive
collects gently used and new clothing items
to match the needs of the sponsored
families.
What we are asking you to consider is
making a donation of a gift item that will
help make this familys wintertime a bit
warmer and more comfortable. We will be
producing a listing of needed/wanted items
for each family member with the help of first
and third grade room parents. We will be
receiving pre-sorted items from the Clothing
Drive. After reviewing these items we will
have a clear idea of what is still needed. This
is when we will need your support and
generosity. The project will culminate in a
wrapping party the week of November 17th.
