* Practicing using the number line and the number lines we
made outside using chalk
* Playing the Bunny Hop and the Dice Roll and Tally game
* Tally Marks- what are they, how do you write them and
what do you do when you get to fve tallies?
* Math tiling!- What is it and how do you do it? We practiced
counting by 2s, 5s and 10s. Extra practice at home
would be benefcial.
* Playing POP! at morning meeting- (We were practicing skip
counting in this game. Ask your child how to play and
when you would say the word POP!) Can you play at home?
Phonics
* Playing Connect Four with short e words
* Practicing the rest of the short vowels
