Welcome back! I hope everyone had a
nice, long weekend! It is hard to believe
November is already here! J

Atlantic Ave is collecting non-perishable
food items for a Holiday Food Drive from
Nov 10-21.

Kindergarten is responsible for collecting
canned corn. Please send in any
donations you can with your child. We will
be talking a lot this month about what we
are thankful for and how we can help
others. Please talk about these questions
at home so your child will have some ideas
to share!

This week we are exploring different book
genres. Please send in your childs
favorite book. We will sort them by genre
and the kids will get to show them off in
the classroom! All books will be returned
on Friday. Thank you!

Dec 24- Jan 4: Winter Break (No School)

What are we learning this week?

Math: Showing, counting, and writing numbers 0-9
Reading: sight words, syllables, exploring different book
genres
Writing: How to write the letters C, O, Q, S, I, T
Featured book: I Like Books by Anthony Browne
