George Feast proposes two initial ideas for a film poster for "The Project". The first idea features a portrait of Feast wrapping themes of the film around his face, along with the tagline "How would you survive?" and noting Feast's previous film "The Mist". The second idea displays scenes from the film inside bold text saying "The Project" on a black background, and includes a three-color sci-fi scheme and positive reviewer quotes at the top. Both ideas incorporate common film poster conventions.

1st initial idea For this idea I would create a text driven graphic poster including a portrait picture of myself. This is because I am the main protagonist of my product: The Project. I would wrap the main themes of my film around the contours of my face. I would include several conventions which are common of film posters which include a short tagline and the name of director with reference to another film theyve been in. The short tagline of this poster would consist of the words; How would you survive? situated at the top of the poster. The name of the director would include From George Feast the director of The Mist and would be situated at the bottom of the poster. 2nd initial idea For this idea a text driven graphic poster would be utilised again but in a different stylized manner. Through the use of the Photoshop cs6 editing suite I would be able to present the scenes shown in the project inside a bold text saying The Project in a big font. This bold lettering would be the centre of the poster with a black background. I would include the conventions of a three way colour scheme, focus on images of protagonist and ratings from reviewers. These would be situated at the top of the poster and would include positive feedbacks I have received from my target audience. The three way colour scheme would correlate the genre of Science Fiction.
