Dear T-Shirt Sponsor,
On behalf of officers and members of the New York State Council Knights of Columbus, I
ask your support in our 8th Annual Fluke Rodeo Fundraiser benefiting two great causes. The first
is the Special Olympics with programs that help bring children and young adults with intellectual
disabilities into the larger society under conditions whereby they are accepted, respected, and
given the chance to become useful and productive citizens.
The second is the Send-A-Kid Fishing Program established by the Fisherman
Magazine. Every $18 donated to the program enables children and young adults the opportunity
to enjoy a day of deep sea salt water fishing. This program gives them an opportunity to learn
about the marine habitat, environmental concerns and the importance of complying with fishing
regulations.
Our Fluke Rodeo will take place on Saturday, June 13, 2015. (Flier enclosed). It will run
from 7AM to 4PM and conclude with the weigh-in, Barbeque, Awards Ceremony and Mega
Fundraiser at MarineMax Marina, 846 S. Wellwood Avenue, Lindenhurst. It will start shortly after
4PM. We anticipate 200 to 300 anglers to participate in this tournament.
We ask your support in our T-Shirt sponsorship program. One time sponsorship fees for
advertising are as follows:
Corporate/Business/Organization/Club Logo on sleeve - $500
Corporate/Business/Organization/Club Logo on back of shirt - $300
Corporate/Business/Organization/Club Name on back of shirt - $100
Donation other than listed above $________
MarineMax Marina and The Fisherman Magazine are co-hosting this Tournament.
