To Whom It May Concern:

I first became acquainted with Sherry Saeteurn at the beginning of the 2012-2013 school
year when she was enrolled as a student in one of my sophomore English classes. Sherry made
an immediate positive impression.
One of the first qualities that I noticed about Sherry is her friendly, pleasant personality. I looked
forward to seeing her each day because she always gave a cheerful greeting as she came into the
room. Even two years later, she still greets me each time we pass in the hallway. She got along
well with both students and staff and was an enthusiastic participant in class activities. I could
always count on Sherry to volunteer to answer questions. In addition, I was impressed by her
willingness to speak up and to ask questions. She was not embarrassed to ask for clarification on
a direction or a point. Sherry is a very assertive young woman who speaks up for herself and
clearly articulates her ideas. Sherry was a student in a class that overall was not very motivated,
but she focused on her own goals, completed her work, and was much more successful than
many other students in the class. When she made a mistake, she learned from it.
In general, I find Sherry to be a very positive and motivated young woman who has the ability
and strength of mind to accomplish any goal that she sets for herself.
Thank you,
