Where Curtains Go

~ (Ode la old) ~

Beneath a glass dance

Clovers and snow
a castle and a dream
I embrace my demons
To the point
Even the dead can see

In a mirror with no reflection, it isn’t easy

Like the 1500 nights I’ve spent awake…

Equations in my head, dulled my teeth

It accompanies the pain in my stomach
That keeps me from my sleep
So I write this to me, through you
And ask for the solution
To my persistent memory disorder

As the phone rings the clock strikes 11:11

And the radio confirms, "Hello", with a déjà vu – tune
Said easily, remember the feeling of understanding
A paradox clothed in change
Lovers, we’ve been here before~

Pick a color for your sky,

Write it down and try not to cry
You’ll never have to share your color
It’s for you and you alone
These words are borrowed, yeah,
But not from a song –
Only a poem I wrote
