Formative assessment - worksheet / Exit ticket draw or describe a relationship. You had a sentence starter.
You referred back to the objective so that the students had a sense of accomplishment and a feeling of success.
Suggestion for their independent work/exit ticket you may want to have some pictures of the events and have them glue them on their sheets.

Couger cash is a positive re-enforcer that the students seemed to buy into.

Suggestion
Maki seemed to loose focus during the writing of the third event. He may need some tactile resources to keep him on task. Maybe add another
stuffed animal Sara. You could act out some of the events before writing them on the screen.
