Parallel Axis Theorem


If

you know the moment of inertia about a


centroidal axis of a figure, you can
calculate the moment of inertia about any
parallel axis to the centroidal axis using a
simple formula

Parallel Axis Theorem


If

you know the moment of inertia about a


centroidal axis of a figure, you can
calculate the moment of inertia about any
parallel axis to the centroidal axis using a
simple formula
