LEARNING THIS WEEK:

Leader of the Week!

WRITING: we will continue writing new

small moments stories and revising
older ones with an emphasis on
bringing details to life
READING: we will continue building
good reading habits and practicing
them in our literacy centers. Mrs.
Marting will be joining us this week to
help prepare for our small guided
reading groups and to get to know the
students!
MATH: we will practice skip counting
by 2s, 5s, and 10s and will continue
working in our math centers
SOCIAL STUDIES: We will get further
into our Groups of People unit and
begin a Me on the Map project
SPELLING PRINCIPLE: You can add a
letter to the beginning of a little
word to make a NEW word!

- PTG Meeting Tuesday 9/15

We are looking forward to seeing you at
our first Parent Teacher Group meeting
of the year on Tuesday. The fall party
planning will be held from 6:15-7 and the
general meeting will begin at 7:00. You
will have a chance to hear from our new
principal, Mrs. Angie Moehlmann.
