LEARNING THIS WEEK: WRITING: We are beginning to wrap up our realistic fiction series writing and will focus on revising, editing, and fancying up our books so they are in published form! We will also create our boxes to store our series. READING: We will continue our story elements unit and this week we are focusing on the lessons that stories can teach us. MATH: We are beginning our graphing unit and will learn how to create and use tally charts, tables, and picture graphs! Have your child take a survey at home and they can tally the results! SOCIAL STUDIES: We will continue learning about how things change over time. Spelling: Practice your word lists! Check your childs binder nightly for new test dates. I will upload their new list to the Spelling City site when I have gone over it with them and it is written in the binder!
