SOME THINGS WE ARE

LEARNING THIS WEEK:
WRITING: We will continue our fantasy
writing unit! This week we are working on
using details to tell more about the
characters and to describe the settings
to our readers.
READING: We will continue studying the
elements of fairytales, folktales, and
fables! This week we are paying attention
to how the settings and make-believe
compare to real life.
MATH: We will continue our measurement
and time unit! This week we will use
problem-solving skills in measurement and
begin telling both analog and digital time!
SCIENCE: We will continue to study living
and nonliving things. This week we will talk
about different kinds of environments,
fossils, and extinction.
Spelling: Look for your childs spelling test
date in their binder and their matching list
on Spelling City!
