SOME THINGS WE ARE

LEARNING THIS WEEK:
WRITING: We are studying special things
authors do in their writing that we can try! We
are using Night of the Veggie Monster as an
example. Look for special text features when
reading with your child!
READING: we are learning good habits for
reading with a partner! Have your child
introduce their book to you before they read
it!

MATH: we are continuing addition! We

work in our math centers daily
SOCIAL STUDIES: We are working on
our Me on the Map project and
discussing communities
SPELLING PRINCIPLE: You can add a
letter to the end of a little word to
make a NEW word!
the + n = then
to + n = ton
be + d = bed
me + n = men
Also study your 2 or 3 SNAP words!
