LEARNING THIS WEEK: WRITING: We are continuing our informational writing unit! Our writers are now teachers as they write about topics they consider themselves experts in. READING: We are continuing how to read nonfiction books to learn about the world! Reading nonfiction will also help model how to write teaching books. MATH: We are diving into subtraction! We continue to work in our math stations. SOCIAL STUDIES: We are examining economics by discussing wants versus needs, goods and services, and the different kinds of jobs people have to earn, save, and spend money.. Spelling: Practice your snap words! In class we will be working with short vowel sounds and patterns.
