SOME THINGS WE ARE

LEARNING THIS WEEK:
WRITING: We will finish up our fantasy
writing unit! We will work on making our
final pieces more polished with
punctuation, spacing, capital letters, and
spelling word wall words correctly. We have
some creative authors in our classroom!
READING: We will finish our fairytales,
folktales, and fables unit! We have
compared and contrasted these story
styles and transferred some of the
elements into our own fantasy stories.
MATH: We will continue our geometry unit
by focusing on how to compare different
shapes and will create composite shapes
with 2D shapes we have learned about
already.
SOCIAL STUDIES: We will begin a unit on
being good citizens!
Spelling: Look for your childs spelling test
date in their binder and their matching list
on Spelling City!
