SOME THINGS WE ARE

LEARNING THIS WEEK:
WRITING: We are continuing our opinion
writing unit! This week we are learning how
to write reviews about all kinds of things!
We will continue working on developing
reasons to convince our readers.
READING: We are continuing to learn
about all of the big jobs readers do!
This week we will continue to explore more
self-monitoring strategies to solve tricky
words when we read independently.
MATH: We are continuing our place value
unit! We are working with tens and ones in
the numbers 20-100 and continue working
in our math centers daily.
SCIENCE: We are continuing to learn
about technology and the design process!
Spelling: Practice your word lists! I have
added a page to the binder that will have
each list and test date on it. Pay
attention to these dates and I will let
you know if the date changes for any
reason.
