Week 3

I went to Al andalos School, this week I taught math for the first time. At first
I was nervous because it was my first time teaching math in Arabic. First I
welcomed the students and their response was so nice, the students were
happy to see me. I revise the last lesson with them after that I explain the
activity for them and gave them an activity, they did it in groups it was
about addition. When they finished they did the activity on their book. I felt
so good and happy because the MST said my teaching was very good, and
also I enjoyed teaching them math. I taught English about he/she lesson. I
asked students to sing a song to reinforce language, and I Asked them what
they are studying today (He/She), checking their understanding, questioning
and sorting pictures into he/she. Using the cards to generate sentences he is
angry. Encouraging the children to read the instructions in the book.
Reminding them we always start with capital (say a capital letter to start the
sentence). My instruction was clear. I used whole class teaching. The
activities are done very quickly and the students need more challenge
especially to use the language, so I think next time I will do differentiation.
