job openings for Allegany County Public Schools. I have studied the job
description and requirements carefully and I believe that I have the required
qualifications and experience for this position. I am requesting consideration

As noted on my resume, I hold a Masters Degree in education specific to
guidance and counseling. I have held several long term substitute school
counselor positions including Allegany and Washington Counties. I worked in
law enforcement as a Maryland State Trooper for eight years. I also worked
as a Child Protective Service Worker, which gave me an excellent working
knowledge about children who are abused and/or neglected. I am currently
employed as a Juvenile Probation Officer in the State of West Virginia.
I have a lot of experience working with juveniles of all ages in different
professional capacities; which I feel would be an asset for this position. The
various professional positions that I have held have given me experience not
only working with children, but working with their families as well.
