Activity: (MILF 2.3): An effective school internship team
Time: 8 hours
Artifact: PBIS Team Breakdown Chart Approved by Treatment Team
I was able to participate in the Positive Behavior Interventions
and Supports Team (PBIS). I worked with staff, administration and students
on attendance and behavior issues. I worked collaboratively with the team
to work on ways that teachers and administration were working to improve
the school environment.
Description:

Reflection: I spent about 2 hours reviewing the treatment team data from
the previous school year. I was able to create a report that broke down the
most prominent behavior issues at the school. I also spent another 4 hours
preparing the data to present to the treatment team and helping to take
additional student behavior reports. I spent about 2 hours working with
both classroom teachers and behavior support specialists in regard to
behavior issues and rewards.
