Background: Annually, the Mens Ministry organizes an event called
hallelujah night. This is an event that provides the youth of the church an alternative activity on the 31st of October that is more in keeping with the teachings of this congregation. The event consists of providing candy for kids during an activity called Trunk or Treat. Members of the church arrive early and park their cars in the church parking lot and open their trunks. Each car is typically filled with a treat or the kids. Afterwards, food and games are provided inside the church. The event typically lasts about 4 hours (5-9pm). Kids from the local neighborhood are invited. Plan for enough candy and games for X Kids. The project lead is responsible for creating the plan for parking cars setting up the church for the event, overseeing the games at designated points throughout the church, publicizing the event, coordinating a light dinner and ensuring the event is organized. Project Lead reports progress in the meetings leading up to the event. At the conclusion of the event, the lead also reports the results at the next ministry meeting.
