Project Proposal

Project Title: "Iisa Tayo ngayong Pasko" (We are One this Christmas)

Objective:

 To foster unity, empathy, and the spirit of giving among students , teachers and
staff of San Jose National High School by organizing a Christmas project wherein
each section from Grades 7-10 adopts a less privileged family, providing them with
food, gifts, and including them in the section's Christmas celebration.

Project Timeline:

Project Launch (December 4): (Morning Assembly)

 Announce the project to all students during morning assembly.


 Distribute project guidelines and criteria for selecting less privileged families.
 Assign project coordinators for each grade level.

Family Selection and Coordination (December 4): (HGP)

 Sections select less privileged families based on established criteria.


 Coordinators collect information about selected families, including preferences and
needs.
 Create a master list of adopted families with their respective sections.

Fundraising and Donation Drive (December 5-8):

 Coordinate with local businesses for potential donations. Encourage students to


donate non-perishable food items, toys, and other essentials.

Shopping and Gift Wrapping (December 11):

 Allocate specific dates for each section to go shopping for their adopted family.
 Organize a gift wrapping event where students wrap presents for their adopted
families. (during MAPEH or HGP time)

Family Visits (December 12): (before or after class)

 Sections visit their adopted families to inform them about the activity and what they
will expect after. Entice the family with words and show them the care and love they
need this Christmas simply through this event.
 Document the visits through photos and short videos for a project recap.

Christmas Party Preparation (December 13-14):

 Coordinate with sections to ensure their adopted families are included in the
Christmas party guest list.
 Plan logistics for transportation and participation in the party.

Christmas Celebration (December 15):

 Host a school-wide Christmas party where all adopted families are invited.
 Facilitate games, performances, and activities that promote interaction and joy.

Project Recap and Appreciation (December 16 onwards ):

 Compile photos and videos from the project for a presentation during the last school
day.
 Express gratitude to students, teachers, and businesses involved in the project.

Follow-up (January 2024):

 Conduct a feedback session with sections to gather insights for future projects.
 Document the project's success stories and impact on both students and adopted
families.

Evaluation:

 Assess the project's success through surveys, feedback sessions, and the overall
impact on fostering a sense of unity, empathy, and the Christmas spirit within the
school community.

Communication:

 Regularly update students, teachers, and parents through school announcements,


social media, and bulletin boards to maintain enthusiasm and engagement
throughout the project.
