Dear Parents/Carers
CLASS 2 VISIT TO JODRELL BANK DISCOVERY CENTRE WEDNESDAY 9TH SEPTEMBER 2015
Class 2 have been given the opportunity to visit Jodrell Bank in Manchester on Wednesday 9 th
September as part of our work on the school curriculum. We will be taking part in a workshop on a
Journey into Space and also visiting the inflatable planetarium.
The total cost of the visit is 19.33 per child which includes the entry fee, workshop, coach fare and
insurance. This will be subsidised by the school and we will pay 12.33, but we do have to ask for a
voluntary contribution of 7.00 towards the cost. If insufficient contributions are received we may
have to cancel the trip.
The coach will leave school at 8:30am. To help ensure that we set off on time you can bring your child
to Breakfast Club which starts at 8:00am and they will return to school by approximately 4:00pm
(depending on traffic!).
All children will have a packed lunch provided by school.
Your child will need to wear their Fagley Primary School uniform. Can I also ask you to make sure your
child has suitable outdoor clothing, in case of bad weather and sensible footwear?
As part of our safety policy we need to make sure we have an up to date telephone number for
each child before we go on any trips. Can you please complete the form below and return to
school as soon as possible?
