Admissions
Admission process is not so typical. If you are International student you have to
contact with Good Counselor who can guide you to select good Institutions. After
finalizing the University/Institution we have to arrange fee. Make a Bank Draft
deposit to consultant. In turn he forwards this Demand draft to University. than
University issues admission letter. After getting that letter we can apply for
Student Visa. It takes hardly a week to get the student visa if all the documents
are attached in order. But my visa came after 40 days.
Registration:
It is the easiest way to for the student to become part of university. One should
have a little knowledge of computer. If any student don’t have computer Literacy.
There are universities employee to help student to register themselves. After
registration student goes to finance department which in turns check the fee
status of student. Then they are forwarded to make their ID cards.
Induction:
Before induction it was a surprise for every International Student that he or she is
going to International induction. But induction disappointed many of the students
because induction was not planned properly. The sitting arrangement was not so
good many of the students were standing for the induction. There must be atleast
lunch or dinner to welcome international student. But there were no such
arrangements.
Attendance:
It has been noticed that there is no technological way of attendance. Any student
can do proxy.
English Support:
There are classes for the English language support. But the drawback is teacher’s
find hard to tackle with students from cross-culture communication. It is also
assumed that the teachers are not professional. Overall they are satisfactory
Transportation:
There is a good facility of transportation to reach Putteridge bury and buttterfield.
I have never missed any class due to any transportation problem.
Learning Resource Centre:
It is really helpful. We can use anytime we need the service required. We can also
find lots of information. It is designed in a good manner. The software is easy to
use.
Any other:
Canteen is very good. They serve Hygienic and tasty food. Canteen is also
equipped by Wireless Internet facility. Orders are fetched on time. The canteen
staff is very friendly.
