LEARNING OBJECTIVES Pupils will be tought to:
Multiply any proper tractions with a whole number up to 1 000
LEARNING OUTCOMES Pupils will be able to;
(i) Multiply whole numbers with proper fractions
VOCABULARIES Multiply fractions, Whole number, Divisible, Denominator,
Numerator, Proper fractions.
RESOURCES Textbook, Exercise book, Fraction cards, stationeries, Fraction
number lines
ACTIVITIES 1. Teacher recalls previous knowledge of subtraction of
fractions.
2. Teacher introduces the concept multiplication of fractions.
3. Teacher demonstrates the solution of some questions taken
from TB page 53, Let’s Practise.
4. Teacher picks pupils to answer the questions on the board.
5. Teacher assign homework in AB page , question
